Facts of the Project

Below is a summary of what went in to completing the project.

Consultation to finished project, the building times and budget.

Programme - 48 weeks

Project Details

98 DBR included a new concrete shaft through the centre of the building which tied into a retained façade. The concrete frame had a finished domed soffit which was completed by using cordek formwork.

The pre-cast concrete staircase was craned into position through the roof section that was left uncompleted. This enabled us to progress with the rest of the works in the core without the long lead and design period of the staircase affecting the overall programme. The finishes of exposed ply and timber joists to the roof areas are in keeping with the other developments on De Beauvoir Road.

Budget - £1.8 million
